The insurance claims workflow tracks every stage from initial notification to final financial settlement. Claims administrators record the claim number, monitor repair authorisation and status, track all insurer correspondence in the Odoo chatter, and reconcile the final settlement payment to the accounting module. No claim falls through the cracks.

Log the Accident
Fleet manager or driver logs the accident record capturing: date, time, GPS location, incident description, parties involved with their vehicle registrations and insurer details, photos of damage, and police case number. The record is created in seconds from mobile or desktop.
Instant Alert
The system automatically sends an email notification and creates an urgent Odoo activity for the responsible fleet manager and the designated claims administrator. No incident goes unreported or unattended beyond the moment it is logged.
Manage the Claim
The claims administrator opens the claims workflow: assigns a claim number, logs the insurer notification date and acknowledgement reference, tracks repair authorisation status, and monitors vehicle repair progress. All insurer correspondence is stored in the claim chatter.
Settle & Reconcile
When the insurer settles, the claims admin records the payment amount received, creates the matching credit note or journal entry in Odoo Accounting, and marks the claim as Closed. Full audit trail is maintained from incident log to final financial reconciliation.
