Fleet Control integrates with leading telematics and GPS hardware providers to pull real-time vehicle location, speed, and trip data directly into Odoo. Fleet managers can view every vehicle as a live pin on an interactive map, replay full trip history, and monitor driver behaviour events — all from within the Fleet dashboard without switching to a separate telematics platform.
Geofences are drawn directly on the map to define operational areas, customer sites, and restricted zones. When a vehicle breaches a geofence boundary, an instant alert is routed to the responsible fleet manager. Speeding events, harsh braking, and unsafe acceleration are flagged automatically and contribute to each driver's cumulative behaviour score.

Connect Your Devices
Fleet Control connects to your existing GPS hardware provider — Ctrack, MiX Telematics, Cartrack, Protrack, and others — via REST API or webhook integration. Devices continue operating as normal. Odoo receives the real-time data feed and processes it automatically.
Live Fleet Map
The Fleet Map dashboard shows all active vehicles as live pins with vehicle registration, driver name, current speed, and last update timestamp. The map refreshes at configurable intervals. Click any vehicle pin to view its full trip history for the current day.
Geofence Management
Draw geofences on the map to define operational zones, customer delivery points, fuel depot locations, and restricted areas. Configure entry and exit alerts per geofence. When a vehicle breaches a boundary, an instant notification is sent to the responsible fleet manager.
Driver Behaviour Alerts
Speed threshold breaches, harsh braking events, and unsafe acceleration are detected from the telematics data feed and routed as Odoo activities to the responsible fleet manager. Events accumulate into a driver behaviour score visible on the driver profile and in compliance reports.
Custom erc_fleet_telematics module ingests data from telematics provider APIs into fleet.vehicle.log.gps records. Live map rendered using Mapbox GL JS. Geofence polygons stored as coordinate arrays. Driver behaviour events linked to hr.employee via mail.activity routing.
